The chair is equipped with a range of unique features, including removable and swivel armrests, as well as thick, soft upholstery. It ensures optimal pressure relief throughout the chair and is ideal for those at risk of pressure sores, bedsores, or experiencing discomfort during prolonged sitting in regular recliners or sleep chairs.

The "Cocoon XXL" includes all the expected functions of a lift chair and recliner, such as electrically operated lift function, adjustable backrest, and leg rest, which can be easily controlled via the included remote control.

This special version of the "Cocoon" is equipped with a single motor, allowing for simple operation of both the backrest and leg rest.

A further advantage of the "XXL-Cocoon" is the integrated swivel and removable armrests, which make transfers between the chair and a wheelchair practical and pain-free, or provide easy access when using a hoist/floor lift. This only requires ordering a set of 4 fixed legs, which allows the floor lift to slide directly under the recliner.

Additional accessories such as a tray, magazine holder, and fixed high legs, suitable for use with a floor lift and similar, are also available and can be purchased by inquiry at Seniorpleje.
