What is medical sheepskin?

Medical sheepskin cannot be compared to ordinary sheepskins, of which there are so many on the market. Genuine medical sheepskins are tested, approved, tanned and specially treated in a particular way so that all bacteria, pests and other microscopic impurities are killed. It can therefore be used for medical purposes.

Why choose medical sheepskin over other products?

Medical sheepskin products are unique, as in addition to being specially treated, they are particularly good at pressure relief. They are also good at temperature regulation and are naturally breathable.

How do your sheepskin boots work?

Our lovely soft lambskin boots are made from the best quality, and are a dream to wear. Whether you wear them with socks or bare feet. They keep your feet warm without you getting sweaty or having smelly feet. The reason for this is that medical sheepskin is a clean product, and it is naturally good at keeping cold out, as well as releasing excess heat. The thick soft fur has a shock-absorbing effect, and you can walk and sit with them on for longer than other ordinary shoes or slippers. All our boots have either a zip or velcro straps, and they are all easy to put on, as they open up almost all the way down.

Who can use your sheepskin products?

Sheepskin boots are designed for all people of all ages to use. They are used with great advantage by people with reduced circulation, diabetes, oedema, wheelchair users, and people with reduced mobility. If you have very strong calves/lower legs or large fluid accumulations in your feet and legs, we recommend our short model.

Can medical sheepskin be washed?

Medical sheepskin can easily be washed. However, we recommend that you always use specially designed soap for this, and that you wash it by hand or on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees. The sheepskin should be laid out to dry on a thick towel, and when it is dry, you should gently "fluff" the fur up a bit again, as it tends to flatten out a bit when washed.
