Is a trolley or shopper the same as a regular shopping cart?
A trolley and a shopper are exactly the same as a shopping cart. "A beloved child has many names," so it varies greatly what each of us calls it ;)
Why should I choose a Shopper?
A shopper is a really good investment, and if you buy one of good quality, it can last for many years. A shopper can help you transport heavy groceries home without you having to drag yourself tired and crooked from carrying shopping bags home from the store. With a shopper, you prevent painful shoulders and back pain. If you tend to get a little tired and dizzy, we have a model with a foldable seat. You just unfold it, and boom, you have a small folding chair.
What type and size should I choose?
Shoppers and shopping trolleys come in many different sizes and types. We have chosen to only stock lightweight models of the best quality. This is to give you longer durability and greater comfort. We primarily stock the large XL shopping bags, as we know that there is currently a need to take care of oneself and only shop a few times a week, due to the risk of infection and new virus variants. Our trolleys therefore have a large capacity, many small compartments, and smart details. In one of our trolleys, we even have a front pocket with thermo-insulating material, so you can safely transport your chilled and frozen goods home. In the same trolley, there is a portable folding seat, so you can take a break or a well-deserved rest at any time.
How many kilograms can an XL Shopper carry?
All our shopping trolleys can carry up to 50 kg in the fitted fabric bag. They each have a capacity of 65-78 litres, which gives you many options, whether you need it for shopping, transporting laundry, or perhaps for a short weekend trip.
Is it waterproof?
Yes, it is waterproof and can easily stay dry in normal rain. The special closure of the bag ensures that the zippers are well covered, and that neither rain nor snow can get to your groceries.
How much does a Shopper weigh?
Our Shoppers are all lightweight models, weighing from 2.5 - 4.3 kg, which makes them easy to take on the go and lift onto a bus or train.
Can a shopper be washed?
There's nothing more annoying than when your groceries leak or break. Especially if it runs to the bottom of your shopping trolley. No need to panic. All our shoppers have a removable fabric bag that can be washed on a delicate cycle at 30-40 degrees without fabric softener. Remember to air dry them, preferably upside down.
