What is medical lambskin?

Medical lambskin cannot be compared to the common lambskins that are so abundant on the market. Genuine Medical lambskins are tested, approved, tanned, and specially treated in a particular way, so that all bacteria, pests, and other microscopic impurities are eliminated. It can therefore be used for medical purposes.

Why choose medical lambskin over other products?

Medical lambskin products are unique because, in addition to being specially treated, they are excellent at pressure relief. They are also good at temperature regulation and are naturally breathable.

How do your lambskin boots work?

Our lovely soft lambskin boots are made of the best quality, and are a dream to wear on your feet, whether you wear them with socks or barefoot. They keep your feet warm without making them sweaty or smelly. The reason for this is that medical lambskin is a pure product, and it is naturally good at keeping out the cold and releasing excess heat. The thick soft fur acts as a shock absorber, and you can walk and sit in them for longer than other ordinary shoes or slippers. All our boots have either a zipper or Velcro straps, and they are all easy to put on as they open almost all the way down.

Who can use your lambskin products?

Lambskin boots are designed for all people of all age groups to use. They are very beneficial for people with reduced circulation, diabetes, oedema, wheelchair users, and people with reduced mobility. If you have very strong calves/lower legs or large fluid retention in your feet and legs, we recommend our short model.

Can medical lambskin be washed?

Medical lambskin can easily be washed. However, we always recommend using a specially formulated soap for this, and washing it by hand or on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees. The lambskin should be laid to dry on a thick towel, and once dry, you should gently "fluff" the fur up again, as it tends to flatten slightly when washed.

What other types of pressure-relieving products in genuine lambskin does Seniorpleje offer?

In addition to our lovely lambskin boots, we have a large soft lambskin for your bed, wheelchair, or favorite chair. We also have other pressure-relieving products, such as heel protectors, elbow protectors, and knee protectors.
